Terms & Conditions

The contract between Materiale Plastice (REVISTA DE CHIMIE SRL) and you as a reader, author, reviewer, or editor.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Materiale Plastice, operated by REVISTA DE CHIMIE SRL (“the Publisher”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using our website, publishing platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

These terms apply to all users of the site, including readers, authors, reviewers, and editors.

2. User Accounts

To submit a manuscript or perform peer-review duties, you must register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself (including your real name and institutional affiliation).
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

3. Author Warranties & Submissions

By submitting a manuscript to Materiale Plastice, the submitting author (on behalf of all co-authors) warrants that:

  • The manuscript is original, has not been formally published in any other peer-reviewed journal, and is not under consideration by any other publisher.
  • The manuscript does not contain libelous or unlawful statements, or material that violates the privacy or intellectual-property rights of others.
  • All named authors have contributed significantly to the work and have approved the final submitted version.
  • All relevant ethical approvals for research involving human or animal subjects have been obtained and are clearly stated.
  • They agree to pay the applicable Article Processing Charge (APC) if the manuscript is editorially accepted for publication, unless a waiver has been granted beforehand.

5. Acceptable Use of the Platform

When using our Services you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Using automated systems (bots, spiders, scrapers) to extract data, email addresses, or reviewer information in a manner that overloads our servers.
  • Attempting to interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of the publishing platform.
  • Submitting fraudulent data, fabricated reviews, or engaging in citation manipulation.
  • Impersonating another researcher, editor, or individual.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

No Warranties

The Services and all content published on the platform are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to ensure the quality of peer review, Materiale Plastice makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any published research or data.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Publisher, its editors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the Services, or any errors or omissions in the published content.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continuing to access or use the Services after revisions become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
